The EATCB Congress brings together experts interested in the field of tissue and cell banking, providing a venue for learning, exchanging knowledge, and presenting the latest research developments. Furthermore, the new EU regulation regarding the use of substances of human origin will apply from 2027, which will strengthen the importance of this meeting.

ABTO XIX Congresso Brasiliano de Transplantes
Twenty-one years ago, Fortaleza hosted the 8th edition of the congress of the Brazilian Association of Organ Transplants (ABTO) for the first time. At the time, I was not yet involved in transplants, but the rumors of the event's success made history. It is therefore with great responsibility to maintain this legacy that I have the honor and enthusiasm to invite you to the Brazilian Transplant Congress, which returns to Fortaleza, the Land of Light, from October 15 to 18, 2025, now in its 19th edition. Along with it, we will be welcoming Portuguese colleagues for the XXIII Luso-Brazilian Transplant Congress, great nursing partners for the XVIII Transplant Nursing Meeting and professionals working in the field of immunology for the Histocompatibility Forum of the Brazilian Association of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI).
